State v. Owran Green
As a result of Mr. Cohen’s briefs and argument, the Florida Supreme Court changed the law regarding foreign born individuals who seek to withdraw their guilty pleas after failing to be warned about the deportation consequences of those guilty pleas.

United States v. Ricardo Sanchez
Mr. Sanchez was charged with the alleged murder of a family of four on the Florida Turnpike, a federal death penalty matter involving the Mexican cartel. Representing Mr. Sanchez, Mr. Cohen cross-examined about 70 witnesses over a three-month period in this complex federal criminal case, which attracted national publicity.
State v. Stephenson
This was a negligent homicide reversal in the death of our client’s infant child. Our firm argued and the Third District Court of Appeal held that the State’s impermissible comment on abortion was reversible error and granted a new trial.

State v. Helena Amram
The firm represented this internationally known Israeli matchmaker of Boca Raton, Florida. She was accused of fraud in the running of her high-end matchmaking business, involving some of the most successful and wealthy people in Palm Beach County. Although Ms. Amram faced what could have been a life sentence, Mr. Cohen's skillful representation resulted in a non-jail disposition and avoided a conviction under Florida law.

Operation Swordfish
As an Assistant U.S. Attorney, Mr. Cohen, along with three other Assistant U.S. Attorneys, prosecuted one of the first major money laundering investigations brought by the U.S. government against approximately 100 individuals.
Doe v. JNC of the Fifteenth Judicial Circuit
This case determined the applicability of the judicial application used by Judicial Nominating Commissions in the State of Florida to the Americans with Disabilities Act.
United States v. Minor
The Copyright Act's prohibition against infringement of intangible property, does not extend to interstate transportation of stolen property.
United States v. Posado
Polygraph tests are not per se inadmissible in criminal proceedings. Admissibility would be governed by the United States Supreme Court Daubert decision and Federal Rule of Evidence 702, overruling the per se inadmissibility findings of United States v. Frye.
